Howling Dogs and Pirates

We had a slight break in-between the two, during which, we popped down to reception to ask about the taxi tomorrow. It was booked for 13:40 and since there wasn’t anyone else at the resort (literally I asked the receptionist, Syd and I are the only guests now) we could have access to the room until the taxi arrived. It was strange that we were the only ones here; I had thought it was eerily quiet. They still had at least 20 staff about doing the gardening, cleaning, chefs, waitresses, and of course the receptionist.
