Saddling A Stranger

Just outside our hotel, and onto the main road (as there were no footpaths down to the beach), there was a sign that said 1km to Karon. I thought this will be all right as it’s downhill the whole way. We set off and hit a climb straight away. Oh. Right. Not to plan… Thankfully, it was over fairly quickly, and we had a water stop at the top. The rest of the way was downhill. Stopping a few times for some water again.
